We had the honour of creating a bespoke gent’s tag pendant in titanium and rose gold, a heartfelt tribute to a cherished mum.
A Personal and Meaningful Design
Our client, who had previously entrusted us with crafting a bespoke diamond engagement ring, returned to us for this deeply personal project. He had a clear vision—he wanted a tag-style pendant that would blend modern elegance with sentimental significance.
The front of the pendant would feature a unique symbol that he had personally designed. This symbol held a special meaning, making it an essential part of the design. The back of the pendant was to be a tribute to his mum, incorporating diamonds from a piece of her jewellery, ensuring her presence remained close to his heart.
Crafting the Pendant – The Challenge of Titanium & Diamond Setting
Titanium is an exceptional metal. It is lightweight, durable and hypoallergenic. However, it is also one of the most challenging metals to work with, especially when setting diamonds. Unlike softer metals like gold or platinum, titanium does not easily allow for traditional stone setting techniques. However, with our expertise, we knew we could bring his vision to life.
Our team carefully crafted the base of the pendant in titanium, ensuring a sleek, masculine aesthetic. The rose gold accents provide a warm contrast, complementing the black diamonds set into the symbol on the front of the pendant and enhancing the pendant’s overall look. Every step of the process was meticulously planned, from creating the client’s hand drawn symbol to engraving and setting the clients sentimental diamonds on the back.

When the final piece was completed, it was nothing short of perfect. The client was over the moon with the pendant, and it was everything he had asked for.
