When it came to his wedding ring, he had a particular vision: a design that would incorporate nature significantly. Ironwood attracted him — a rare, richly grained material known for its strength and symbolism.

The Gold and Ironwood Wedding Ring Design: Strength Meets Elegance
We designed a 5mm flat-profile wedding band in 18ct yellow gold, with the inside of the ring carefully lined in Ironwood. The result was a beautifully balanced contrast — the outer glow of precious gold with the hidden warmth and strength of natural wood within.
Ironwood isn’t just beautiful — it’s one of the densest woods in the world, so heavy it sinks in water. It was the perfect symbol for our client: rare, resilient, and rooted in meaning.
Crafting this ring required immense care and technical precision. Organic materials like wood demand a specialist’s touch to ensure durability, longevity, and a flawless finish — all of which our workshop team brought to the table.
